Given the uncertainty about the expected short-term developments in the Coronavirus outbreak, and since the health and safety of speakers and attendees at the event are our highest priority, CITEVE, ASM and Textile ETP decided to postpone the iTechStyle Summit 2020 and the 15th ETP’s Annual European Textile Conference, awaiting the opportunity to set a new date for later this year.

Two major textile conferences on a single stage.

The iTechStyle Summit 2020 - 4^th International Conference on Textile and Clothing and the 15^th ETP’s Annual European Textile Conference will take place, alongside, in Porto, Portugal, April 28-30, in a joint organization of CITEVE – Technological Centre for the Textile and Clothing Industry of Portugal and Textile ETP - European Technology Platform.

Following three successful editions, with a wealth of positive feedback received from attendees and speakers, iTechStyle Summit 2020 takes on the challenge of, once again, bring together industry innovators, technology providers, researchers, clusters and other actors from the Textile and Clothing sector from across Europe.

Addressed by leading voices from the industry and academy who will give their expert insights on the latest trends, strategies, opportunities and challenges, the iTechStyle Summit will continue to embrace the areas of industry 4.0, digitization and dematerialization of textile and clothing prototypes, new advanced fibres and materials, new technical and smart structures, and sustainability and circular economy.

Simultaneously, the event will focus on how these strategic innovation themes for textiles link to the new Horizon Europe research and innovation framework programme starting in 2021.
